Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, has an immediate opening for an experienced Plant Supervisor at its facility in Tamaqua (Hometown), PA.

The Plant Supervisor is responsible to organize, control, execute and direct daily plant production activities to prepare high purity specialty gases for the Electronics industry. The position is responsible to provide technical, administrative, safety, quality, project, cost control and personnel supervision to assure the safe, timely, and cost effective preparation and manufacture of product. The Supervisor must be knowledgeable of the plant's capacity and the constraints imposed by available manpower, material, cost and operating equipment. The incumbent will be a member of the Emergency Response Team and must qualify as an Incident Commander.
The incumbent may be required to work on a rotating 12 hour schedule.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma/GED; 2 years of college preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience; prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Good interpersonal skills are necessary, as well as excellent supervisory skills
