Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, is seeking an experienced Sales Supervisor. This position will be based at either the Chandler/Tempe, AZ or Fountain Valley, CA office.
This position will be responsible for growth and new customer acquisition in the Microbulk and small bulk market channel in an assigned region. The area of responsibility is Salt Lake City, Arizona, and Southern California.
The Sales Supervisor will have supervisory responsibility for 5-7 hubs, leading between 10 and 13 field Microbulk Sales Reps. The primary responsibilities include hiring, training, managing, coaching,and mentoring the Microbulk Sales Team to achieve geographic sales budget objectives, specifically new business signings, and price management targets. The incumbent works closely with the Microbulk management team, as well as the Divisional and Field Sales management in North America Gases to achieve results. The nature of this position requires 50%-75% travel.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- High potential individual with previous commercial experience (8-10 years) with
- Demonstrated Customer interaction and relationship building skills.
