ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, has an immediate opening for an ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR to be based at our Corporate Headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

The position will report to the Manager of Global Accounting and will provide support to the manager as well as the other managers within the North America Global Accounting Organization. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong initiative and interpersonal skills. This is a partnership role requiring the ability to anticipate needs coupled with a desire to learn. The role also requires the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.

Responsibilities for this position include:
• Coordinating the process for the Representation Letters for Accounting, Management, Audit, and Tax and preparing the Disclosure Committee Report for the Quarterly meeting.
• Leading the Office BSP requirement program for the North America Controllership function. This program was recognized by EH&S during the past year for embracing a safety culture and promoting awareness and peer recognition.
• Maintaining the Scorecard on the Global Accounting intranet site.
• Assisting in the preparation of power point presentations.
• Maintaining several online Share Point Sites.
• Performing general administrative duties including coordinating external candidate interviews, meeting and event planning, booking domestic and international travel, maintaining office supplies, coordinating office moves, and preparing expense reports.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma with at least 5 years experience
• Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, and AP Sharepoint).
• Ability to use Live Meeting and Audio Conferencing
• SAP experience a plus
• Strong organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills
• Strong interpersonal and team skills are required to meet both customer and internal communication requirements
