Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for Truck Driver/Warehouse Techs at its Wichita, KS facility.
This position will work a 12-hour rotating shift as the demand in the warehouse is requiring the additional coverage.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Candidate will act primarily as a Warehouse Tech with 20-40% of their time being utilized as a Class A driver to move box trailers full of chemicals, drums, totes, etc. throughout the plant, which includes crossing the main public road next to the plant.
Driver must maintain DOT and company required driving and equipment records and retain and file inventory management records.
Daily warehouse duties will require the candidate to produce and package blend and finished goods in pails, drums, totes, tank trucks, and railcars. Additional duties will include loading bulk chemical trailers and ISOs as well as offloading bulk materials.
Utilize SAP to confirm and process orders, generate shipping documents, keep accurate inventory via cycle counts, and resolve customer complaint notifications.
Operate all material handling equipment such as forklifts, track mobile, and yard truck.
*Responsible for Basic Safety Process in accordance with company policy.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 years of recent driving experience driving tandem axle tractor/trailer
- Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent Computer Skills
- Clean driving record
- HS Diploma or GED
