Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, has an immediate opening for a RESEARCH TECHNICIAN to be based at our Corporate Headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
This position supports new-product development for the semiconductor and display industries. The Research Technician will be part of a team developing materials and applications for thin-film deposition.
Responsibilities include operating and maintaining PECVD equipment, thin-film metrology, equipment design and fabrication, and general lab-support. Preferred experience is with Applied Materials tools (P5000 and Producer). Flexibility and availability for 2nd-shift operations are needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
B.S. in Chemistry or Engineering with at least five years experience or
Associates/trade degree with at least ten years experience
Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Attention to safety and safe work practices
