Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, is seeking an experienced Engineer in the Louisiana/Texas region.
This position will provide ongoing pressure systems support for numerous facilities in the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast Region, which are owned and operated by Air Products and chemicals.
Responsibilities will include equipment design, materials selection, fabrication, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of non-rotating mechanical systems (primarily pressure vessels and piping). The incumbent can reside in either the LaPorte, TX or Geismar, LA area.
Travel is required (primarily in the Gulf Coast Region).
Qualifications/Requirements:
• B.S. Mechanical engineering, 5-10 years experience.
• Ideal candidate would have a working knowledge of the ASME code, ANSI code, structural codes and piping stress analysis.
