Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, has an immediate opening for a SERVICE ENGINEER at our Corporate Headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
The Service Engineer is responsible for the overall execution of repair projects supporting the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) businesses at Air Products. The Service Engineer is responsible for project execution activities including repair strategy, cost and schedule for the assigned project(s). Additional responsibilities include managing the onshore activities related to construction and start-up of new LNG facilities; and, managing paid engineering studies for future LNG business proposals.
The Service Engineer works closely with the other project managers, business managers, start-up engineers, functional engineers, internal manufacturing resources and the external customer.
Qualifications:
-BS in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
-Operations, maintenance and project management experience, preferred
Shall demonstrate and/or have the capability to develop Leadership Competencies including:

-Ability to analyze issues and exercise sound judgment in the coordination and direction of the individuals that comprise the project or service team
-Understanding of strategic issues
-Having a management style which fosters trust and open communication

-Provide leadership by demonstrating personal responsibility, accountability, and work commitment
-Be capable of leading a diverse project or service team.
-Travel to domestic and global locations required (20% typical).
