GARDNER CRYOGENICS, a division of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, has IMMEDIATE openings for experienced Welder & Fitters at its Bethlehem, PA facility.
Applicants for the Welder positions must be capable of producing quality welds in order to rehab large cryogenic vessels under minimal supervision, and must be skilled in the following:
- SMAW, GMAW, GTAW
- Burning (oxy-acetylene and plasma)
- Soldering (soft and silver)
- Pipe fitting
- Air arc
- Radiograph test for qualification
Applicants for the Fitter positions must be skilled in the following:
- Pipe and heat fit-up
- Tube bending
- Written test for qualification
THESE ARE EVENING SHIFT POSITIONS - 2:30 pm - 10:45 pm.
Some weekend overtime should be expected.
All applicants must have a HS diploma/GED and be familiar and compliant with safety regulations, plus be able to read blueprints, and have the ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane.
