Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Designer for its Wichita, KS facility.
Must be able to work with teams or individually with plant organizations including Maintenance, Operations , Process and Project engineering. Review and update P&ID’s, collect field data, design equipment layout, design process & utility piping systems, including structural support requirements, for projects in an industrial chemical plant for a global company. Reference AP engineering standards and procedures, ASME, OSHA, and other engineering standards
Qualifications/Requirements:
-Prefer 2-4 year Technical degree.
-Prefer 10- 15 years experience in the petrochemical / refinery industry.
-Graphic software experience should include Microstation, Intergraph PDS, and Isogen.
-Other software experience should include Microsoft Office 2007 products.
-Must have a working knowledge of ASME B31.3 and be able to keep up with many plant specific tasks.
