Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, has an immediate opening for a SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER at our Corporate Headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for design and analysis of foundations and structures required for facilities designed by the Plant Design Group. Facilities cover a wide range of industrial type applications including Air Separation Units, Hydrocarbon Processing, LNG and Specialty Gas. Typical assignments include process related structures, pipe racks, compressor and other major equipment foundation engineering. Additional requirements include working knowledge of pertinent building and design codes, geotechnical considerations and deep foundation systems. The incumbent will work as part of a large team in accomplishing these tasks.
Qualifications:
- BS Civil Engineering required.
- 5 to 7 years experience and professional engineer registration a plus.
- Good communication and teamwork skills are necessary.
- Ability to proactively interface with other design and engineering disciplines is critical.
