Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, has an immediate opening for a Senior Principal Chemist/Material Scientist/Physicist at our Corporate Headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
The candidate will be responsible for identifying new material opportunities for the emerging photovoltaic market, developing applications for these materials and working with Original Equipment Suppliers (OEM) and/or PV device manufacturers to implement materials in manufacturing. The candidate will work closely with the PV commercial team to identify potential projects, guide these projects through the Offerings Development Process and establish intellectual property protection as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics or Material Science and 3-5 years of relevant industrial experience in the PV industry.
