Job Description and Qualifications Air Products Healthcare, one of the top five providers of home respiratory products and services in the U.S. and a subsidiary of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc.(NYSE:APD), is seeking a Accounts Receivable Representative in our Covington, GA location.

Job Description:

An Accounts Receivable Representative ensures the accuracy of all claims by performing follow-up on delinquent accounts, processing account adjustments and verifying insurance coverage when necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

-Review all billing data information for accuracy.
-Working knowledge of all healthcare contracts and billing requirements.
-Verify insurance coverage and forward all necessary requirements to Documentation Specialist.
-Identify, document and submit all claim adjustments and refunds as appropriate.
-Complete any documentation or changes for database management.

Job Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent; required.
-Working knowledge of HCPC'S, ICD-9 and CPT medical coding.
-Knowledge of insurance reimbursement guidelines.
-Polite telephone etiquette and excellent communication skills (written and oral).
-Computer literacy is strongly preferred.
-Detail oriented and strong organizational skills.
-Medical or Home Medical Equipment background preferred.
