Job Description and Qualifications Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, has an immediate opening for an Administrative Coordinator at our Corporate Headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

This position provides administrative and secretarial support to a patent attorney and patent legal assistant. Will also assist in the preparation and filing of U.S. and foreign patent applications. Monitor Copyright agreements, send required patent information to agents, and assist in the process of recognizing inventors.

Position Responsibilites:

Type legal documents and general correspondence; monitor and stay current with patent docket; answer phone and relay messages; proofread legal documents and take corrective action; open and maintain legal files; draft correspondence for review; manage calendar; make domestic and international travel arrangements; prepare expense reports.

Qualifications:

High school graduate with several years experience in a law firm, corporate law department or comparable experience in general business. Must be proficient in Microsoft applications. Must be a strong team player and maintain confidentiality; strong interest in learning and applying patent related procedures.
