Req No. 1749BR Job Title CLINICAL LIAISON – AP HEALTHCARE Employment Status Full Time Employment Type Exempt Country United States Location US-PA-Monroeville Organization US - Global Healthcare Job Description and Qualifications Air Products Healthcare, one of the top five providers of home respiratory products and services in the U.S. and a subsidiary of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc.(NYSE:APD), is seeking a Liaison for our Monroeville location.
Job Description:
The Clinical Liaison works in conjunction with an assigned hospital’s Case Management/Continuing Care staff and personnel to plan for home care services for patients receiving Respiratory/DME services and Home Infusion Therapy services.
Job Responsibilities:
-Identify, maintain, and develop relationships with hospital personnel, case managers, physical therapists, social workers, physicians, nursing, etc. -Coordinates the patient referral process including referral demographics, communication with customer service/clinicians, verification of insurance coverage, delivery, education, CMN retrieval and patient/referral source satisfaction follow-up. -Deliver and train patients and care givers on equipment ordered to ensure proper handling and usage of equipment. -Provide or assist with in-service training seminars and/or CEU programs. -Represent company at local, regional and other assigned trade shows. -Complete and submit all required paperwork requirements (Referral Intake Forms, Insurance Verification Documents, Delivery Tickets, Clinical Liaison Activity Logs, etc) and special information reports with specific deadlines in a timely fashion. -Maintain knowledge of all our provided products and services and other pertinent information related to our business.
Job Qualifications:
-Customer service/billing experience in a health care environment required -Knowledge of rehabilitative therapies, medical equipment and pharmaceuticals and is highly desirable. -Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations, insurance contracts required -Excellent written and verbal skills -Strong listening, problem solving, planning, and organizational skills -Strong computer skills desirable -Bilingual helpful -Ability to present products and services in a professional manner
