This audit position will be responsible for planning and conducting operational and financial audits to assess the risks and controls within our various business organizations and our core and enabling processes. Some audits will be in response to specific consulting requests from Business Management or Global Process Owners. Data analysis and interface with our SAP ERP environment will be required to successfully perform certain audits. Depending on the individual's experience level and Air Products exposure, the successful candidate will conduct audits independently or as part of an audit team. Over the course of a 2 to 3 year assignment, the candidate will be given exposure to a wide variety of Global Businesses and Process Areas by performing a variety of operational and financial audits.
Qualifications:
The position requires a bachelor's degree and strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and time management skills. Two to five years of previous internal audit or public accounting experience is preferred or comparable Air Products' internal experience. CIA or CPA certifications are also preferred, or the candidate should be willing to obtain an audit certification while in this audit position. Experience with SAP is desirable. The position may require 25% domestic travel and international travel could be available depending on the individual’s preference. A second language skill in a geography or country where Air Products conducts business will be a plus such as Mandarin, Spanish or Portuguese.
