Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, is seeking an experienced Dispatcher for its Liberal, KS facility.
This position reports directly to the Driver Supervisor, and is directly responsible for the dispatching of all the drivers in accordance with the LHE, BHE, LIN and MRI schedule.
This requires extensive daily communications between helium production facilities and helium scheduling. In addition, this position will take an active role in all BSP activities and lead safety meeting with the drivers. This position will also take an active role in scheduling containers in for maintenance and keeping track of KPI’s.
Good communication skills and computer knowledge and the ability to work with multiple groups and individuals and manage multiple competing priorities on a daily basis are a must.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
-Must have a high school dipolma or equivalent
-Experience in logistics scheduling or planning a plus.
